Skyhawks Multi-Sport youth clinic on tap soon

SANDPOINT — Looking for something fun for the kids to do this summer? Sandpoint Parks and Rec is collaborating with Skyhawks to offer two one-week Multi-Sport Clinics for children ages 6-12 years-old at Travers Park.

The Multi Sport Clinic will introduce baseball, basketball and soccer in one setting. Participants will learn the rules and essentials of each sport through skill-based games and scrimmages. By the end of the week, your child will walk away with knowledge of three new sports along with vital life lessons such as respect, teamwork and self-discipline.

Session No. 1 is June 11-15, with a registration deadline of June 4, and session No. 2 is July 23-27, with a registration deadline of July 16. All classes will be located at Travers Park (2102 Pine St.) from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day The class fee is $149.
