I completely agree with Les Downs’s letter (Oct. 31, Daily Bee), “What’s happened to the Democratic Party?” This is especially true locally. Not so many years ago, Democrats were totally dominant in Bonner County, but the current crop has run the party into the ditch. Many of us formerly active Democrats have left the party, completely disillusioned.
