Pastor Andy Kennaly and First Presbyterian Church of Sandpoint is pleased to offer a casual gathering today by the peace pole in the Community Peace Garden on the corner of Fourth Avenue and Alder Street. The gathering begins at noon.
The public is invited to honor and celebrate World Community Day and peace as poems, prayers, silence, and song are shared around the Peace Pole.
Hot drinks will be provided outside and the 20-minute program will take place rain or shine.
The noon gathering follows an earlier event, a Peace Pole unveiling at the East Bonner County Library at 11 a.m.
