BGH hosting Diabetes Day

SANDPOINT — Want to know more about diabetes? Or, perhaps, you’re living with it and want to know more about how to live your best life?

To answer those questions — and more ­— Bonner General Health is holding a Diabetes Day event on Monday, Nov. 5, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 423 N. Third Ave., Suite 101. It is free and open to the public.

Screenings taking place include A1C, blood glucose, blood pressure, eye acuity exam, height/weight, meter checks, mouth/gum exams, urine protein screens and more. In addition, there will be information available on diabetes management, health insurance benefits, smoking cessation and more. Vendors will also be on hand and providing information on medications and insulin pumps.
