Sandpoint sets leaf pickup date

SANDPOINT — Fall has arrived and city crews are scheduled to begin Sandpoint’s annual leaf pickup beginning Tuesday, Nov. 13.

City residents are asked to place unbagged leaves in the street next to the curb by Monday, Nov. 12. Branches or bagged leaves will not be picked up. The city’s annual branch pickup occurs in the spring.

Sandpoint residents are reminded they can receive announcements like this from the city via email or on their phone using its new Engage Sandpoint platform?

Mobile users can download the city’s app by installing Engage Sandpoint in the Google Play store or SeeClickFix in the App Store and selecting Sandpoint as their city.

Residents also can report issues and see announcements by clicking the SeeClickFix item on the city’s Facebook page menu to the left or going directly to Sandpoint’s Engage Sandpoint website at http://bit.ly/2JFIPjW.
