Priest River Police Officer Tanner Bodie, left, was awarded his Peace Officers Standards and Training certificate by PRPD Chief Drew McLain, right, during Monday’s City Council meeting. Bodie has garnered more than 900 training hours since he was hired by the department in 2014, McLain said. He graduated from NIC’s Peace Officer Academy in 2013, and is a graduate of Crisis Intervention Team and trained in Advanced Roadside Impairment Detection Enforcement.
