An officer answered questions regarding a juvenile in the 700 block of Sapphire Court at 7:57 a.m. who did not want to go to school.

An accidental gunshot wound occurred in the 2500 block of Highway 2 at 8:14 a.m.; an officer advised it was non-life threatening.

A 14-year-old Sandpoint male was cited in the 400 block of Division Avenue at 10:48 a.m. on a charge of minor in possession of tobacco.

An officer contacted a resident in the 200 block of Second Avenue at 10:38 a.m. regarding a homeless cat.

An officer advised after a complaint at 10:44 a.m. that a badly parked pickup on Cedar Street was on private property; no citations were issued.

A credit card found in the 300 block of First Avenue at 11:15 a.m. was returned to its owner.

Owners of a dog found at large in the Division Avenue area at 11:18 a.m. were issued a verbal warning.

A 14 -year-old Ponderay male was cited in the 400 block of Division Avenue at 11:34 a.m. on a charge of minor in possession of tobacco.

An officer advised that reportedly abandoned vehicle in the 2000 block of Janelle Way at 11:47 a.m. belonged to visitors in the area.

A follow-up report was taken on Boyer Avenue at 12:54 p.m.

Heidi J. Johnson, 35, of Sandpoint was arrested in the 300 block of Cedar Street at 7:21 p.m. on an outstanding misdemeanor warrant.
