Breakfast with Santa event set
SANDPOINT — Who wouldn’t want the chance to have breakfast with jolly old Saint Nick while also helping out a great cause?
On Dec. 8, kids of all ages will have the chance to do just that during the Sandpoint Teen Center’s “Breakfast With Santa” event.
“Breakfast With Santa” is $5 for kids and $10 for adults. The cost includes a breakfast of pancakes, scrambled eggs, ham, orange juice, coffee and hot cocoa. A free photo with Santa is included as well.
The event is scheduled from 8-11 a.m. at Sandpoint Community Hall, 204 S. First Ave.
Proceeds from the event will help the center continue to provide programs for local teens.
“Even though we lost our home, we are still going strong thanks to the kindness of Huckleberry Lanes,” Dig Chrismer, teen center board member said in an email to the Daily Bee. “Our annual fundraiser will help us continue programing for our local teens including a collaborative cooking class at the Senior Center.”
Chrismer invited the community to come, have a great breakfast and help a great cause at the same time. There also will be a raffle with some great prizes, she said.
Tickets can also be purchased at Washington Federal by Dec. 7 or at the door.
