Judith Ann Stolz

| November 21, 2018 12:00 AM

Judith Ann Stolz was born in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, April 27, 1943, the daughter of Herbert and Mable Holbrook, both of who preceded her in death. She attended school in Priest River, Idaho, working in the C&C Cafe.

On May 4, 1963, Judith married John Arthur Stolz; having two sons, John Aurthes II, and GySgt. Jack Alvin of Camp Pendleton California.

Judy retired from working in the family’s business The Hut in Nikiski, Alaska. Her time was spent crocheting blankets, hats and booties for gifts to give to families and friends; she put love in all. At dinners on holidays, she would make her potato salad and deviled eggs — it was the best. Her alone time was when she watched NASCAR racing.

Judy lived in Priest River, then Germany, back to Priest River on to Oregon to Alaska, back to Priest River, and finally in Alaska.

Judy came from a family of five: Herbert Holbrook, Vancouver, Washington, Janet Browning, Palmer, Alaska, Joan Veltri, Priest River, Idaho, David Holbrook (wife Sherry), Priest River; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The year Janet retired, her boss asked if she wanted something, she would love to do it for her. She wanted to take Judy home to Priest River and she made it happen! Thanks, Janet.

Funeral is pending in Alaska. She will be missed and loved.
