Jason Wayne Kemp, 40
Jason Wayne Kemp was born Oct. 24, 1978, in Lakefield, Minn., to Dr. James and Annette Kemp. He passed away on Nov. 17, 2018, at the age of 40 in Englewood, Colo. Jason attended and completed his schooling years here in Sandpoint, Idaho, and went on to become a technical engineer. He had been employed in the cellphone industry for over 20 years.
He was married to Anne Richmond on June 7, 2008, and resided in Santa Barbara, Calif., until June of this year when they transferred to Colorado. In addition to his work, Jason enjoyed updating all the modern gadgets in his car and was an accomplished mechanic. He had a love for music and also was an accomplished musician. He was a world traveler and enjoyed exploring the many different cultures and histories of each area he visited.
Jason is survived by his wife, Anne; his parents, Jim and Annette; one brother, Kevin; a sister-in-law, Nancy, and niece, Allyson. He was preceded in death by his sister, Carolyn; his grandparents, Archie and Suzie Kemp; his grandparents, William and Flory Muller; and his uncle, Larry Kemp.
A memorial celebration of his life and accomplishments will be held at First Lutheran Church, 526 S. Olive Ave., on Saturday, Dec. 1, 2018 at 2 p.m.
