(Photo by MARY MALONE) Kinderhaven's largest fundraiser, the Festival of Trees, kicks of tonight with “Family Night” from 4-6 p.m. at the Bonner County Fairgrounds, where all the trees can be viewed prior to auction. The event is free to the public, Santa will be visiting with kids, and cookies and cocoa will be served. The Festival of Trees will continue Friday with a holiday luncheon at 11 a.m. Guests will be directed to the silent auction, then to the main gala area for lunch and viewing of the trees. Tickets are still available at kinderhavensandpoint.com. The Grand Gala on Saturday, which consists of dinner catered by Ivano’s and the live auction of the trees, is sold out.
