CLARK FORK — Hailey Bristol blasted nine kills, and Clark Fork made quick work of Genesis Prep in a 25-7, 25-9, 25-6 sweep on Tuesday in North Star League volleyball at Clark Fork High School.

Brooke Stevens posted 24 set assists, six aces, seven kills and a block, and Ellie Kiebert seven kills, four aces and six assists for the Wampus Cats (14-9, 8-0 NSL), who were on cruise control after a tough Genessee Tournament.

Clark Fork head coach Cindy Derr praised the back row play of Ellie Lambert and Aleehia Valliere, who didn’t let many balls land in play from the Jaguars (5-5, 4-4 NSL).

“Ellie Lambert anchored the back row and ended up with four digs and no errors,” said Derr, praising the strong serving of Valliere. “Aleehia got the ball at 18-6 and served out the game with three aces in the run. She hasn’t served all year so we were excited for her.”

Tessa Sutton added five kills, Sophie McMahon three and Ali Sutton two, as Stevens mixed up her sets to every hitter. The Wampus Cats secured the league title tonight with the win.

Clark Fork is at Mullan tonight, then will celebrate Senior Night on Thursday, starting at 6 p.m.
