Sutton smacks six aces at Cats top Tigers
MULLAN — Another night, another North Star League sweep for Clark Fork, which dispatched Mullan 25-7, 25-10 and 25-11 on Wednesday night in league volleyball at the Mullan Pavilion.
Ali Sutton ripped six aces to go with four kills, Ellie Kiebert added 10 kills and three aces, and Brooke Stevens guided the attack with 21 set assists, five aces and four kills.
“I let my left backs play one rotation in the front row and serve tonight,” said Cats head coach Cindy Derr. “Abbie (Anderson) did a good job on defense tonight, and Ellie Lambert served five in a row in the third set and again had a good night in the back row.”
Hailey Bristol added three kills and three aces, Tessa Sutton five kills and three aces, and Aleehia Valliere two kills for the Wampus Cats (15-9, 9-0 NSL), who host Kootenai tonight on Senior Night.
One of the better senior classes in recent memory will be honored.
Tipoff is 6 p.m. at Clark Fork High School.
