Lakes panel meets Nov. 2
SANDPOINT — Repairs to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ driftyard on Lake Pend Oreille, the next phase of restoration of the Clark Fork Delta restoration project and more are slated for discussion when the Idaho Lakes Commission convenes on Friday, Nov. 2.
The meeting begins at 9 a.m. in the second-floor auditorium at the Columbia Bank Building at Fifth and Church.
Although the meeting’s agenda is still being finalized, other topics of discussion may include updates on aquatic invasive species in Lake Pend Oreille and upstream in Montana. There may also be a Lake Pend Oreille fishery update by the Idaho Department of Fish & Game and update on Priest Lake water management and upgrades to the Outlet Bay Dam and the Thorofare.
The meeting concludes with a presentation by the Bonner Soil & Water Conservation District.
