After a request for assistance in the 700 block of Larch Street at 6:42 a.m., law enforcement assistance was no longer needed.
An unattended death was reported in the 500 block of Olive Avenue at 8:59 a.m.
A citizen in the 1000 block of Ridley Village Road asked to speak to an officer at 9:29 a.m.
A follow-up report was taken in the 1600 block of Hickory Street at 2:45 p.m.
An officer assisted Probation with a vehicle search in the area of S. Ella Avenue and W. Superior Street at 3:08 p.m.
A possible attempted sex offense was reported in the city at 3:53 p.m.
Reported mishap between a vehicle and paint that fell off a trailer in the 700 block of Fifth Avenue at 4 p.m.
A bike was found abandoned on the bike path near the 474000 block of Highway 95 at 4:38 p.m.
Officers assisted BGH personnel with an unruly patient in the 500 block of N. Third Avenue at 6:27 p.m.

After a complaint of disorderly conduct at 10:47 p.m., an officer mediated in a verbal altercation in the 1000 block of Maple Avenue and advised nothing criminal had occurred
Mark A Sebastian, 25, of Sandpoint, was arrested in the area of Larch Street and Jefferson Avenue at 11:37 p.m. on charges of possession of methamphetamine; and Edward A Fritz, 24, of Sandpoint was cited at the same time and location on charges of possession of marijuana and paraphernalia.

An officer assisted Ponderay Police on a call in the 800 block of Kootenai Cutoff Road at 2:35 a.m.
An officer picked up a purse at 3:18 a.m. at the depot in the 400 block of Railroad Depot Avenue, which had inadvertently been left there.

Oct. 2
An officer received a report of burglary in the 800 block of Kootenai Cutoff Road at 10:43 a.m.
A follow-up report was taken in the 500 block of Kootenai Cutoff Road at 1:56 p.m.
An officer responded to the 400 block of Elm Avenue for a trespass reported at 4:24 p.m.
Three juveniles were arrested in the 200 block of Second Street at 6:13 p.m. on charges of possession of marijuana (less than three ounces), possession of paraphernalia with the intent to use, and frequenting a place where drugs were used.
