I am writing in regards to a very good friend of mine; his name is Dan McDonald. Dan has one of the biggest hearts of anyone I have ever met. I cannot count the times he and his wife Kathy have donated items, money, or time to a cause, never batting an eye when asked.

Dan has been active in countless non-profit organizations and youth sports, I have heard many young adults attest that Dan has helped them through some very difficult times in their lives with sage guidance that they still lean on today.

I recently heard someone refer to Dan as “aggressive” and a “bully;” I had to laugh, because if you know Dan at all, you would know that he is quite the opposite and is a mentor for many in the community.

Dan is just a normal guy, with a bigger-than-life personality. I wanted to voice my perspective regarding Dan McDonald because there is a lot of hurtful, negative things being said about him currently. My advice is this, should you have any questions regarding Dan’s character, integrity, morals, beliefs, etc. … ask him, trust me, he will openly answer any questions you may have, and at the end of the conversation you and I may have a new friend in common.
