Community scares up plenty of Halloween fun

| October 25, 2018 1:00 AM

SANDPOINT – This week has so much fun, it’s scary!

Along with Halloween parties, there’s live music, movies and dances on the roster.

Get your weekend started early tonight, as downtown merchants celebrate the completion of roadwork and Dust Off Downtown throughout the downtown core.

The Panida has Halloween-themed films running all weekend, from the G-rated ‘It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown!’ to the kitschy “Little Shop of Horrors’ and the terrifying classic, ‘The Shining.’

Saturday features the Day of the Dead party at Evans Brothers Coffee and Matchwood Brewing Co., along with a social dance at Community Hall. On Halloween, more costume parties and some fun trick-or-treating options at City Hall, the museum and more.

Like I said, scary – but in a good way.
