Orchard Ridge Assisted Living and Memory Care is excited to partner with Trinity Lutheran Church in Bonners Ferry to present a workshop concerning issues of aging to the community.

The PEACE workshop (Professionals Easing Aging Concerns through Education) will cover such areas as aging well, differences between facilities (skilled nursing, assisted living, independent), Medicare, home care and health services, legal estate planning, caregiver support, and spiritual health. The workshop will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church on Oct. 27, 9 a.m.-2 p.m. This is a free educational workshop with lunch provided, but please RSVP to 208-664-8119.

The PEACE workshop was created as a response to the issues identified by pastors during a Pastor Summit at Orchard Ridge three years ago. Through careful planning and the collaboration and generosity of a panel of local professionals, Orchard Ridge and the panelists have organized and successfully put on over 12 workshops in the past two years.
