Wampus Cats fall at state tourney Senior Ellie Lambert, pictured earlier in the season, and the Clark Fork volleyball team won once and lost twice on the first day of the 1A Division II Idaho state volleyball championships Friday at Borah High School in Boise. Clark Fork beat Lighthouse 3-2 in the opener, advancing to face reigning state champion Watersprings, which swept the Cats to knock them into consolation. The Cats (18-11) then fell 3-1 to Rockland in the consolation semis, ending their tourney and title hopes. No other information was received. See next week’s Bee for a full rec…
