Oct. 16
An officer and Selkirk Fire responded to a reported two-vehicle, non-injury accident in the area of N. Division Avenue and Hickory Street at 8:58 a.m.
A truck lost a trailer load of logs, blocking traffic and damaging trees and signs in the area of Fifth Avenue and Pine Street at 10:12 a.m.
An officer assisted Health & Welfare with a home visit in the city at 10:53 a.m.
After a welfare check request, an officer checked a residence in the 1100 block of Oak Street at 12:16 p.m.; no one appeared to be home.
An officer stood by while a female removed some personal belongings from a residence in the 900 block of Larch Street at 1:52 p.m.
Items were taken from a vehicle parked in the 400 block of S. Division Avenue at 2:29 p.m.
Unknown person(s) dumped an animal carcass in the back of a truck parked on Hickory Street at 2:31 p.m.
A vehicle parked in the 200 block of E. Superior Street was tagged for 48-hour removal at 4:12 p.m.
The owner of a vehicle partially blocking a driveway in the 300 block of S. Florence was asked to move it at 4:15 p.m.
After a physical altercation occurred in the 300 block of Oak Street at 4:28 p.m., an officer advised the victim did not want to press charges at the time of the call but was advised he could at a later date.
An officer was unable to locate a suspicious vehicle reported in the 4200 block of Samuelson Avenue at 4:42 p.m.
Officers responded to a request for security while a tech worked on an ATM machine on N. Fourth Avenue at 7:50 p.m.
Liquor was taken from a residence in the 600 block of Ruth Avenue at 10:43 p.m.
Oct. 17
An officer assisted another agency on a traffic stop in the area of Highway 200 near Lignetics at 12:34 a.m.
An officer checked on a male in the 600 block of Larch Street at 1:25 a.m.; he declined any kind of assistance.
After a complaint in the 4100 block of Samuelson Avenue at 2:13 a.m., officers advised no noise could be heard coming from the residence.
Carrie L Smith, 38, of Newport, Wash., and Zane E Lumpkin, 38, of Spokane, Wash., were arrested in the area of Sixth Avenue and Oak Street at 3:16 a.m. on charges of possession of meth. Lumpkin was also served with a felony warrant from Spokane County and Renae A. Akers, 47, of Newport, was arrested at the same time and location on a misdemeanor Bonner County warrant.

Oct. 16
An officer responded to a 911 hang-up in the area of Highway 95 at 12:16 p.m.
An officer took a report of theft in the 476900 block of Highway 95 at 2:42 p.m.
A possible drunken driver was reported in the Highway 95 area at 4:42 p.m.
Oct. 17
Baptiste A. Aitken, 32, of Bonners Ferry was arrested in the area of Highway 200 near Lignetics at 12:34 a.m. on an outstanding warrant.
