Lowell Keith Hawn
Lowell Keith Hawn was born in LaGrande, Oregon, on February 25, 1958 to Keith L. and Erline A. Hawn. He was raised in Idaho growing up in Burley, Lewiston, and Sandpoint, Idaho, before entering the Army in 1977.
Lowell proudly served in the Army and was stationed in the U.S., Germany and had a tour of duty in Desert Storm.
During his time of service he was awarded many commendations including the Bronze Star. He was honorably discharged in 1992.
While serving his country he met his future wife and married Sue Cha Cho on April 30, 1986 in Colorado Springs. After leaving the military, they moved to Sandpoint.
Lowell worked many years as a journeyman plumber for ETCO Services in Hayden Lake. It was a job he truly appreciated.
Lowell had a lot of hobbies, including hunting, fishing and collecting.
He was also a talented artist using recycled and found materials to create many different art pieces.
If you needed help Lowell was just a phone call away — always ready to lend a hand. He was a good husband, son, brother and friend; and will be dearly missed.
Lowell was preceded in death by his parents, Keith L. and Erline A. Hawn of Sandpoint.
He is survived by his wife, Sue Cha Hawn; his sisters, Susan (Harold) Smith, Carmel Hawn, and Laurie (Dave) Sheldon; a niece, Erika (Jessie); and a nephew, Mitchell.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
