Homecoming events are announced
School may have just started but Priest River Lamanna High School is already gearing up for homecoming, set for Friday, Sept. 14.
Students are scheduled to decorate the hallways from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. this coming Sunday with the first day of fun set for Monday, Sept. 10.
On Monday, Sept. 10, it’s “class theme day” with freshman assigned sports, sophomores assigned “The Greatest Showman”, juniors assigned “Footloose”, and seniors assigned Pixar. The powder puff football game begins at 6 p.m.
On Tuesday, Sept. 11, it’s “role model day” with the girls soccer game set for 4 p.m. and the volleyball matches set to start at 5:30 p.m. for junior varsity and 7 p.m. for varsity.
On Wednesday, Sept. 12, it’s “class color day” with freshman assigned grey, sophomores white, juniors black and seniors orange. The “Manly Man” contest begins at 6 p.m.
On Thursday, Sept. 13, it’s “prep versus country” day. Activities include girls soccer at 2 p.m., boys soccer at 4 p.m. and volleyball matches at 5:30 p.m. for junior varsity and 7 p.m. for varsity.
On Friday, Sept. 14, it’s Spartan pride day and everyone is encouraged to wear orange and black. Homecoming assembly will begin at noon with lip syncing and the parade is set to start at 1:15 p.m. The Spartans will take on the St. Maries Lumberjacks at 7 p.m. and the homecoming dance will follow after the game is over.
