Lynch scores hat trick in Bulldogs' win over Hawks

RATHDRUM — Emi Lynch poured in a hat trick of goals, leading the Bulldog girls to an 8-0 dispatching of the Hawks in a 4A Inland Empire League opener on Tuesday at Lakeland High School.

“Emi has come a really long way in the last year, her movement off the ball has been excellent. I’m proud of her to get her first hat trick,” praised Bulldog head coach Conor Baranski. “Kylie Webster was instrumental in midfield and the defense was pretty solid.”

The Bulldogs (3-1, 1-0 4A IEL) will get a huge bump in competition when they host GSL soccer power University on Thursday in what figures to be one of their toughest nonleague games of the year.
