Aug. 21

A resident in the 1600 block of Sequoia Street was counseled on the proper use of 911 at 6:14 a.m.

A dog fight was reported at 9:43 a.m. in the 600 block of S. Division Avenue, which resulted in severe injuries.

Tires were reported slashed in the 400 block of Pine Street at 9:46 a.m.

The owner of a stolen bicycle located it in the Michigan Street area at 11:30 a.m., and it was returned after all involved parties were contacted.

The owner of a wallet found in the Michigan Street area was contacted at 11:25 a.m.

Information regarding a possible traffic complaint was relayed to law enforcement in the area of N. Boyer Avenue and Baldy Mountain Road at 12:26 p.m.

Complaint of excessive weeds in the Industrial Drive area at 1:17 p.m.

Complaint of excessive weeds in the Culvers Drive area at 1:19 p.m.

Possible fraud was reported in the 300 block of Fifth Avenue at 12:49 p.m.

Joseph L. Schauwecker, 18, of Sandpoint, was arrested in the 4000 block of Samuelson Avenue at 2:11 p.m. on a Bonner County warrant.

An officer was unable to locate the source of a 911 hang-up call on Ruth Avenue at 3:12 p.m.

An officer advised a vehicle-versus-bicycle accident resulted in minor injuries in the area of N. Boyer Avenue and Church Street at 3:38 p.m.

An officer was unable to locate anyone jumping off the kayak launch in the N. First Avenue area at 4:22 p.m.

Accidental alarm activation was reported on Highway 2 at 4:38 p.m.

Tires were reported slashed on a vehicle in the 1300 block of Larch Street at 7:03 p.m.

A vehicle was reported burglarized in the 400 block of W. Superior Street at 7:18 p.m. and numerous items taken.

An officer assisted BCSO deputies with an arrest on Dover Bay Parkway at 6:16 p.m.

Officers spoke with a resident of the 1900 block of Browning Way at 8:27 p.m. at the police department regarding an incident that had occurred and advised there were no threats.

Aug. 21

Suspicious circumstances were reported on Triangle Drive at 9:16 a.m.

Report of a hit-and-run accident on McNearney Road at 3:35 p.m.

Report of a reckless driver in the area of Highway 200 and Kootenai Cutoff Road at 5 p.m.

Crystal Avila-Arreola, 22, of Spokane, Wash., was cited in the 478000 block of Highway 95 at 8:13 p.m. on charges of driving without privilege.
