Jason Garcia, 40, of Kootenai was arrested on a misdemeanor warrant in the 300 block of Helena Street in Kootenai at 11:33 a.m.

A vehicle theft was reported on Washington Street in Newport, Wash., at 8:05 p.m.

SANDPOINT POLICE

Aug. 27

A polygraph examination was conducted on W. Lake Street at 8:26 a.m.

Information was relayed to law enforcement on N. Boyer Road at 10:27 a.m.

A citizen was issued a verbal warning for misuse of 911 in the N. Boyer Road area at 10:27 a.m.

A follow-up report was taken on Oak Street at 11:19 a.m.

An officer assisted EMS with a combative patient in the 200 block of S. Division Avenue at 11:32 a.m.

Report of a lost gun in the 500 block of Church Street at 12:07 p.m.

Accidental 911 activation was reported in the area of N. Boyer Avenue and Alexander Way at 1:08 p.m.

An officer assisted Ponderay Police in the 1100 block of Fontaine Drive at 2:38 p.m.

A Specialized bike was turned in as found property in the 300 block of N. First Avenue at 3:18 p.m.

Ongoing harassment was reported in the 700 block of Fifth Avenue at 3:24 p.m.

An officer was unable to locate any juveniles or graffiti in the area of the 200 block of N. First Avenue after a complaint of a problem at 3:29 p.m.

Juveniles in the 1100 block of Spruce Street were issued verbal warnings at 4:18 p.m. for harassing a dog.

A bike and a purse were turned in as found property in the 300 block of N. First Avenue at 4:22 p.m.

An officer was unable to locate juveniles running into traffic in the 800 block of Hickory Street after a complaint at 5:07 p.m.

An officer assisted Health & Welfare with an interview in the 1400 block of N. Boyer Avenue at 5:44 p.m.

Officers were canceled prior to arrival in the 200 block of N. Third Avenue after a possible family offense was reported at 6:07 p.m.

An officer was unable to locate suspicious vehicles reported in the 600 block of S. Lincoln Avenue at 6:47 p.m.

A battery complaint was placed under investigation on N. Lincoln Avenue at 7:33 p.m.

Officers assisted a citizen in the 800 block of Fifth Avenue with a relative, who had dementia and did not want to get back into their vehicle at 8:32 p.m.

An officer advised a citizen was upset with the Full Moon bicyclists in the Ontario Street area at 9:07 p.m.

PONDERAY POLICE

Aug. 27

Report of a reckless driver in the area of Highway 200 and Kootenai Cutoff Road at 11:30 a.m.

Alicia L. Flynn, 33, of Ponderay was arrested in the 30900 block of Highway 200 at 2:38 p.m. on a charge of domestic battery.

Officers responded to a report of a possibly impaired driver on Highway 200 at 6:01 p.m.
