Aug. 28

Two male juveniles, who were playing on the railroad tracks in the 400 block of N. Lincoln Avenue at 8:27 a.m., were released to a parent with a verbal warning.

An officer advised at 8:41 a.m. that an unknown vehicle struck mailboxes in the 1600/1700 block of Cedar Street, damaging the support posts.

Accidental 911 activation was reported on Oak Street at 8:49 a.m.

A Nintendo gaming system was taken from a vehicle parked in the pre-100 block of Bridge Street at 9:13 a.m.

An officer advised a vehicle theft report in the pre-100 block of Bridge Street at 9:46 a.m. was unfounded; the matter was civil.

Marijuana was seized for destruction in the 600 block of S. Division Avenue at 10:04 a.m.

Cristopher D. Lopez, 47, of Puyallup Wash., was arrested in the area of First and Pine at 11:16 a.m. on a charge of domestic battery.

A theft of cash was reported in the 100 block of N. First Avenue at 12:11 p.m.

An officer advised a possible fraud on N. Second Avenue at 1:01 p.m. had already been reported.

Accidental 911 activation was reported on N. First Avenue at 1:37 p.m.

Suspicious circumstances were reported in the 700 block of Fifth Avenue at 3:13 p.m.

Unsubstantiated threats were reported in the 100 block of Halley Street at 4:24 p.m.

A non-reportable collision that occurred in the 1200 block of Hickory Street at 4:26 p.m. was reported at the police department.

Suspicious phone calls were reported in the 100 block of S. Lincoln Avenue at 6:46 p.m.

An officer contacted a male in the police department lobby in the 1100 block of W. Lake Street at 7:22 p.m., who stated someone had been following him around town. There was not enough information to identify the suspect.

Officers assisted BGH personnel with a combative patient in the 500 block of N. Third Avenue at 8:15 p.m.

An officer was unable to locate two juveniles who were reported to be looking for a younger sibling in the 2000 block of Pine Street at 8:24 p.m.

An officer answered a citizen’s questions about Idaho’s firearm laws on N. Boyer Road at 9:05 p.m.

Report of a family offense in the 300 block of Creektop Lane at 9:56 p.m.

Officers assisted ER personnel with a combative patient in the 500 block of N. Third Avenue at 9:56 p.m.; possible charges are pending.
