Join Brandy Andrew at the Priest River Library for a Live & Learn program on community CPR.

Bring a lunch on Saturday, Sept. 22, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and learn how to perform life-giving CPR on both adults and infants. The session is open to those 13 and up.

Monthly after school art programs return to the Priest River Library in September. Artists @ the Library is geared for kids fifth-grade and up the focus this year will be functional art. Create leather bound journals and paracord bracelets that can be used as survival tools, turn a plain piece of glassware into a work of art and learn to make beeswax candles. Artists @ the Library meets on the third Thursday of the month at 3:15. The first program will be held on Thursday, Sept. 20.

My Art At the Library is sporting a new name. Now called Kids’ Krafternoon, this program for kids grades K-4 will resume on Sept. 27, will be held on the fourth Thursday of the month at 3 p.m. Join Josie and create popsicle bracelets, customized journals, stained glass hangings and welcome winter with a hand made snow globe.

Please register early for these classes as seating is limited.
