Sandra (Sandy) Gail Miltner, 67
Sandra (Sandy) Gail Miltner, 67, of Newport, Wash., left this Earth for her Heavenly home on Friday, Sept. 7, 2018.
Sandy was born in Savannah, Ga., on Sept. 26, 1950, to Walter Eugene and Helen Marie Tatum. Sandy was the youngest of three children. She leaves behind beloved husband, friend, and hunting partner of 48 years, Arthur Jon Miltner; and two children, Ajay Jon (Chelsea), and Shelby Gail (Greg); and a grandson, Hunter Jon; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
She grew up in the South, but called the Northwest her home. Some of Sandy’s favorite times were spent with her family and friends, she also loved hunting and fishing. Sandy could also cook a meal that would satisfy the biggest appetite. She loved to laugh and had an uncanny ability to draw people in with her stories and wealth of knowledge. Sandy enjoyed canning, sitting around the kitchen table chatting with friends and family.
She was one of the kindest people you could ever meet. She opened her home to anyone that needed a friend or a shoulder to lean on. Sandy will be forever missed, she was a shining light in this world and brought joy to all of those that knew and loved her.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 21, 2018, at the American Lutheran Church 332801 Highway 2, Newport, Wash. Burial will be held in Savannah, Ga., at a later date.
