Youth coed volleyball on tap for grades 3rd-6th

SANDPOINT — Join Sandpoint Parks and Recreation for another exciting season of youth volleyball, open to any and all area 3rd through 6th graders, with play split into 3rd/4th grade and 5th/6th grade teams.

Practice will be held once a week at various area elementary schools with games played on Saturday mornings at Sandpoint Middle School, starting Nov. 3 and going through Dec. 15. There will be no games Nov. 10 and no practice or games Thanksgiving week, Nov. 19 – 25.

The fees are: One player, $38 county/$33 city; two players, $66 county/$56 city; and three players, $89 county/$79 city. Red and white jersey are required, and can be purchased for $14. Partial scholarships are available upon request.

Players will be contacted by coaches after the coaches meeting Oct. 11 and 12. Volunteer coaches are needed. A Coaches meeting will be held on Thursday, Oct. 11 and Friday, Oct. 12 at 5:30 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers, 1123 Lake St. Pick one of the two meetings to attend.

The registration deadline is Monday, Oct. 1. Pre-register online at www.sandpointidaho.gov/parksrecreation or in person at Parks & Rec at 1123 Lake St.
