Sept. 11

An officer advised at 7:30 a.m. that a possible suicide threat on S. Division Avenue was unfounded.

An incident involving a fraudulent check was documented on W. Lake Street at 9:37 a.m.

Reports via Facebook were reported in the 600 block of Ridley Village Road at 10:04 a.m.

A driver, who left the scene of a collision in the 1200 block of Michigan Street at 11:45 a.m. was located and identified.

A resident in the 600 block of Division Avenue was issued verbal warnings at 12:42 p.m. for misuse of 911 and false reporting.

An officer was unable to locate the source of 911 hang-up call on Fifth Avenue at 1:03 p.m.

A non-reportable collision occurred between a tractor-trailer and a parked car in the area of N. First Avenue and Pine Street at 1:31 p.m.

A 16-year-old Sandpoint female was arrested on charges of grand theft auto and driving under the influence after taking a relative’s vehicle without permission from the 1300 block of Honeysuckle Avenue; and was also served with a Bonner County warrant.

An officer was unable to locate any parked vehicles in the 1500 block of Fifth Avenue creating a traffic hazard at 3:07 p.m.

A resident in the 600 block of S. Division Avenue was referred to her caseworker at 3:21 p.m. to solve her issues.

An officer spoke to a group of juveniles congregating in the 1300 block of Highway 2 about their behavior after a complaint at 4:06 p.m.

Accidental 911 activation was reported on Oak Street at 5:51 p.m.

A 16 -year-old Dover female was issued a promise to appear in the area of S. Boyer Avenue and Erie Street at 8:30 p.m. on charges of possession of marijuana and paraphernalia.

Sept. 12

Officers contacted a male and female involved in a verbal domestic in the 4100 block of Samuelson Avenue at 4:21 a.m.; each refused to leave for the night, so they were warned to keep the down the noise.
