Priest River’s Travis Matthews runs the last leg of the 4x200 relay at the Bonners Ferry Invitational on March 23. Matthews, a freshman, most recently ran the 1600 in a season-best 5:50.83 at the Glen Wolf Memorial Invite at Deer Park High School. The Spartan boys placed third out of 17 teams, whereas the six-member girls team placed 10th of 18 teams. Priest River track and field’s season resumes at an IML dual meet at Timberlake on April 10.
