Deadlines nearing for tax exemptions

SANDPOINT — Bonner County Assessor’s Office is reminding property owners that the deadline is approaching for some property tax exemptions.

April 15 is the deadline to have homeowner’s, agriculture and property tax reduction (circuit breaker) exemptions turned in to the office.

There are qualification for these exemptions, Bonner County Assessor Donna Gow said Tuesday in announcing the deadline.

Regarding the decision from First District Court for the 29 Priest Lake parcels, Gow said the decision only pertains to those 28 parcels for the year 2017 and one parcel for 2016.
