Climate change program today

| April 16, 2019 1:00 AM

SANDPOINT — A presentation, “Doubting Climate Change? Sorting Climate Facts from Fiction” is being held today as part of Earth Week activities.

The program will take place from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Sandpoint Library, 1407 Cedar, in meeting rooms A&B.

There is confusion and doubt about what facts and scientists to believe with regards to climate change, said Dr. Gabrielle Duebendorfer. “Both sides of the issue claim that the other is ruled by conspiracy or misinformation campaigns,” she said. “If you are on the fence about climate change, please come to this presentation.”

Duebendorfer, a naturopathic physician concerned about air pollution health impacts, co-founded the Sandpoint Chapter of Citizens Climate Lobby and Living Room Conversation Group. Her interest lies in building bridges to move toward viable solutions for the stewardship of the planet.
