Sandpoint athletes drop times at 2019 Pasco Invitational

Despite bringing the rain from their home track meet with them, Sandpoint’s track athletes made the most of the 2019 Pasco Invitational last Saturday.
Of the 11 Bulldogs whom competed, none had a bigger day than Nikolai Braedt, who cut four seconds off of his mile PR and placed eighth in his heat with a 4:34.22. On the girls’ side, Bionce Vincent ran a 2:28.92 in the 800 meters — two seconds off her personal best in merely the first month of the season.
Both distance medley relay teams ran together for the first times, yet fell short of setting new school records. The boys’ squad was the closest to rewriting the record books; Seth Graham, Jett Lucas, Kieran Wilder and Brady Nelsen were 23 seconds off the school record.
Sandpoint’s full squad will run at the Christina Finney Relays on Thursday at 2:30 p.m.
