PR Museum to host bake, yard sales

| April 17, 2019 1:00 AM

The Priest River Museum has a bake sale scheduled for Thursday, April 18, starting at 9 a.m. at Mitchell’s. Donations of baked goods for the sale from members and supporters will be appreciated, as usual. The board is always very appreciative of the outstanding bake sale support of the past from both donors and customers.

The bateau sign, beautifully refurbished with the aid of John Connolly and Priest River Glass, will be mounted soon where it will be easier to read, and a new handicap ramp and work on the verandah will be started as well. Ernie Bauer is working on attractive new brochures, and the timber-related artifacts and the wedding dress collection will be featured exhibits for the summer. Over 200 visitors signed the guest register last year, and Priest River Elementary students visited.

The museum will again participate in the city-wide May Day event, offering plants and miscellaneous for sale. Again, donations and support from the public will be appreciated.

If you’d like to make a donation to the yard sale, call 208-448-2289 to make arrangements.
