Passholders raise nearly $10K for food bank

SANDPOINT — Schweitzer Mountain Resort officials said they joyously presented a check for $9,890 to the Bonner Community Food Bank on Wednesday.
The money raised came directly from the season passholder silent auction held over closing weekend. The food bank has been a recipient of the silent auction proceeds for the last several years.
Items auctioned off included old Snow Ghost signs, a “Name-Your-Run” option, as well as various other items.
“A huge thanks to the Schweitzer passholders for their continued generosity year after year,” said Dig Chrismer, Schweitzer Mountain marketing manager.
