Rod Moline

| April 20, 2019 1:00 AM

Rod Moline died on April 10, 2019. His passing from this world was sudden and unexpected. In addition to family amembers listed in an earlier obituary, Rod was survived by his wife of 7 years, Terry.

Rod and Terry were married June 10, 2012, at the Cocolalla Cowboy Church. They shared a passion for riding horses and camping.

Beginning when weather allowed, Rod and Terry could be found in the mountains on the trail.

Sitting in front of the campfire on summer nights was where Rod found his peace.

Rod’s love for animals grew after his marriage to Terry. In addition to their horses, Rod loved their dogs, donkeys, goats and parrots. He became very content being home with this extended family and his wife.

Anoth-er activity that brought joy to Rod was his leather work. He spent hours trying to learn new techniques and was proud of his work.

Rod was a simple man who enjoyed sharing a story or joke. His laughter shook his whole body and his smile was bright and frequent. He loved a few close friends and considered their loyalty a special gift.

The world was a better place with Rod in it.

A service was held in Sandpoint on April 18, 2019.
