Meetings address LPOSD search

SANDPOINT — The Lake Pend Oreille School District will be hosting several stakeholder engagement meetings next week regarding the search for a new superintendent.

The district enlisted recruiting firm McPherson and Jacobsen this week to assist with the search, after Superintendent Shawn Woodward announced he accepted a new position with the Mead School District as of July 1. Stakeholder involvement is among the duties of the firm under contract with the district.

The stakeholder meetings will be scheduled for Thursday, April 25, and Friday, April 26, though the specific times and locations will be announced early next week.
