Dining for Dogs to aid CCI efforts

SANDPOINT — Baxter’s on Cedar and The Back Door are hosting a “Dining for Dogs” fundraiser on Wednesday to benefit Canine Companions for Independence.

Canine Companions for Independence provides expertly trained assistance dogs, free of charge, to children, adults and veterans with disabilities.

The Dining for Dogs benefit will be an all day event from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Baxter’s, 109 Cedar St; and from 3 p.m. to midnight at the Back Door, 111 Cedar St.

A portion of the day’s proceeds will be donated to Canine Companions for Independence. A silent auction will be held as well. Everyone is invited to stop by and meet some of the Canine Companion puppies-in-training and bid on silent auction items as well.
