Litehouse announces promotions

SANDPOINT — Litehouse, Inc. has announced new members to its executive team. Matt Burrows has been promoted to vice president of finance and Derek Christensen has been promoted to vice president of IT.

Burrows and Christensen, two of the company’s more than 1,100 employee-owners, will also join the Litehouse executive team, where their business acumen and respective expertise in Finance and IT will play a critical role in developing the company’s strategic plan for the future.

Having been with Litehouse for nearly a decade each, Matt and Derek’s expertise and guidance has played a crucial role in our company’s growth and development to-date, and we are delighted to welcome them to the Litehouse executive team.”

Burrows joined Litehouse in 2010 as an accounting manager, and during the past nine years, also held the roles of controller and director of corporate finance and accounting. In his new role as vice president of finance, Burrows will represent the company’s financial department at an executive level, and oversee the long-term strategy for the company’s financial planning. Burrows has a double major in finance and accounting, and prior to joining Litehouse, held roles at Key Tronic and BDO Seidman.

Since joining Litehouse in 2010, Christensen has served as the senior director of IT and has held roles as the applications manager, as well as director and managerial IT positions. As Lite-house continues to invest in technology updates and innovations, Christen-sen’s new role as vice president of IT further reinforces the company’s commitment to staying at the forefront of industry developments.

Christensen currently serves on the board for the Inland Northwest Technology Professionals Association, and prior to joining Litehouse, held roles at Evolution Fresh and Disneyland Park.
