SL Parks & Rec hosting flower basket fundraiser

A tisket, a tasket, for Mother’s Day, want to give mom a hanging basket? Spirit Lake Park and Recreation has you covered with its hanging flower baskets fundraiser.

With spring finally making an appearance, SLPR is offering ready-made big, full hanging baskets that will make fantastic Mother’s Day gifts for that special “mom” in your life! Baskets will be random colors and are to be picked up at City Hall on May 10. Payment can be made at City Hall payable to Spirit Lake Park and Rec, which will be accepting payments until end of day Wednesday, May 9. There are limited quantities so place your orders today.

Baskets are $30 each and must be picked up between noon-6 p.m. on Friday, May 10.

Want to support Spirit Lake Park and Recreation, but want to pick out your own flower basket? SLPR has an option for that, too. Stop by city hall, pay for your baskets and pick up a paid voucher and then head out to VW Greenhouses to enjoy some flower therapy by picking out your own.
