Carole Jeanne Johnson, 76

Carole Jeanne Johnson, 76, passed away on Wednesday March 6, 2019.

Carole was born to George and Mabel Marker on June 24, 1942, in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.

She spent most of her youth in Coeur d‘Alene and attended grade school and high school there.

She later attended North Idaho College and the University of Idaho, where she obtained her bachelor’s degree. She helped run the family business, John-sons’ Quality Ever-green and livestock farm with her stepson, Jim, and her husband, Glen (Dick) Johnson, until his passing in 1999. She volunteered with the Bonner County Community Gleaners and donated to many charites.

She loved where she lived in Cocolalla, being independent, craft fairs, lunch dates with her friend Carol and reading. She was one of Vanderford’s Books best customers.

She was proceeded in death by her father, her mother and by her husband.

She is survived by her brother, George Marker (Michelle); nephews, Chris Marker and Scott Marker; stepchildren, Jim Johnson (Pam), Carolynn Peterson (Rick); and life-long-ever-devoted friend Carol Flagel.

Private family service will be held.
