Kathy M. Westra

Kathy M. Westra passed away July 7 2019, at her home in Pahrump, Nev. She was born Aug. 9, 1950, in Winneka, Calif., to Florence and Lawerence Valez, both deceased.

Kathy is survived by her husband, Robert; her son Chris; her daughter, Mary; six grandkids; three sisters, Sharon, Donna, Barbara; and a brother, David; and several nieces and nephews. Kathy and Robert and their children lived in Priest River for a time then went to Pahrump in the early 1990s to be with Robert’s aging parents, both deceased.

During her life in Priest River, she worked at Mitchell’s, Sprouse Ritz, and Key Tronics, where she made several friends.

Kathy was loved by her family and will be greatly missed

Memorial service will be held in Priest River on Friday, Aug. 9, 2019, at 4 p.m. at 308 Snow Valley at the Snow Valley Bible Church. Take Highway 57 to Falls Inn, turn left and go approximately two miles. The church will be on the left.
