Make the choice today to live a healthier lifestyle

I am sitting at my laptop, which just so happens to be pink-and-white polka dot for a reason. It makes me smile. I also have a zebra print high heel shoes. Why? They make me smile. I have several tubes of my favorite pink lip stick. Why? It makes me smile.

I don’t view my office as a place of work, rather a place that I can make a difference. A place that makes me smile, makes me happy and a place that brings my creative juices alive. It is my office. It is my life.

While there may be a pink girly whimsical side of “Nat the trainer,” there is also a very concerned and compassionate side of me that cares very much for all of my clients. I have a very stern and often black-and-white (no nonsense) approach to what I do (for a reason). I guarantee results and my clients reach their goals.

Health and fitness has, for a long time, been a large part of my life. What I do, day in and day out, is not a job for me, it is a lifestyle and a commitment that I have made.

Anybody, regardless of your current age or weight can choose to be fit. All you need to do is make that initial commitment -— not to your significant other, not to your physician, not to your kids or coworkers or your personal trainer of choice. Not anyone else, you.

Make the commitment to you. Then start: Eat well. Exercise well. Live well. Where’s the confusion in that? Do it today … stop goofing off with your life.

If you want to continue being out of shape, tired, overweight and stay on the merry-go-round of blaming others for your condition, then by all means, do nothing. If you are ready to begin living a healthier lifestyle, I congratulate you in taking the first step toward the new you.
