DYW: Calling all LPOSD juniors

Distinguished Young Women is calling all high school juniors in the Lake Pend Oreille School District area. Now is time to register to learn more about the program and the potential to earn a $3,000 scholarship (presented to the 2020 Distinguished Young Woman winner), plus other scholarships.

Distinguished Young Women is a scholarship competition program available for girls in their junior year of high school, the graduating class of 2021. DYW is a great opportunity to make new friendships, learn life skills (such as interviewing and public speaking), have fun showcasing your achievements and of course, help pay for college.

A participant/parent meeting will be held Jan 8, 2020, at 6 p.m. in the Sandpoint High School library. Registration deadline is Dec. 31, 2019. This year’s Distinguished Young Women program is set for March 21, 2020.
