FAFSA help event is set for Tuesday

PRIEST RIVER — Come in and get assistance in completing the federal application for student aid with the 21st Century Community Learning Center’s Agoge and Gear Up.

Parents will need to bring the following information: their Social Security number or alien registration number (if you are not a U.S. citizen), federal income tax returns, W-2s, and other records of money earned. (Note: You may be able to transfer your federal tax return information into your FAFSA using the IRS Data Retrieval Tool.) In addition, bring along bank statements and records of investments (if applicable), records of untaxed income (if applicable), and marriage/divorce date. Remember, FAFSA can be used for vocational training as well as college.

The events will take place Feb. 12, March 12, April 9, and May 14. All events will take place from 5-7 p.m. at Priest River Lamanna High School, Room 109.

The 21st CCLC at PRLHS is an after-school program providing students with academic tutoring, college and career counseling as well as enrichment activities.
