Monday accident closes Long Bridge

SANDPOINT — Icy conditions may have contributed to a Monday morning crash which shut down the Long Bridge for about an hour.

Idaho State Police reported on their Twitter feed that there were no injuries stemming from the multi-car crash, which was reported about 8 a.m.

One lane of the bridge was opened to alternating traffic just before 9 a.m. with both lanes opened for normal traffic about 9:12 a.m.

No further information on the crash was available.
