Conrad wins basket in Valentine's Day raffle

Traci Conrad is the winner of the Henry Bergdorf American Legion Auxiliary Unit 155 Valentine’s Day raffle. Conrad won a basket of goodies, including dinners at local restaurants, lotions and potions, honey, a vacuum cleaner and more items donated by businesses and locals from the communities of Oldtown, Priest River, Newport, Blanchard, and Priest Lake.
The money raised by the auxiliary will go to help veterans and their families, send girls to Girls State to learn about the state government, buy materials for Quilts of Valor, and support the Henry Bergdorf American Legion Post 155.
A new raffle is scheduled to begin Friday, Feb. 8. The winner will receive $300. Community members can look for Auxiliary members in local stores.
