SANDPOINT — Curious about what is going on with the city’s downtown revitalization project? You can find out the latest on the project’s second phase as a public meeting at 8 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 19, at the Little Panida Theater, 304 N. First Ave.

Slated to begin this fall, the project will continue 2018’s revitalization improvements from the intersection at Second and Cedar around the corner on First Avenue to the intersection of First and Church. Similar to the first phase of the project, Sandpoint officials have said the second phase involves removing and replacing all elements of the street from storefront to storefront.

The transformation will include all new sidewalks, landscaping, irrigation, benches, stormwater features, bike racks, lighting, roadway, striping, signage and other features.
