Sandpoint junior Dawson Driggs and sophomore Hattie Larson were named to the All-4A IEL District 1 girls basketball team for their efforts this season.

Despite missing the first five games with an arm injury, Driggs wasted no time making her mark on the 2018-19 season. In her first game back against Bonners Ferry on Dec. 8, Driggs outscored the Badgers by herself in the first half, shot 50 percent from the floor and finished with 18 points, five rebounds and three assists. Driggs would eventually set a career-high of 19 points at Lewiston on Dec. 21. She closed out league play by notching double-figure performances in three consecutive games.

Larson, on the other hand, started all 20 games for the Bulldogs and was a consistent offensive option throughout the season. As Sandpoint’s leading rebounder, she nearly had double-double nights on several occasions, including her 16 point, nine-rebound effort in Sandpoint’s season finale against Moscow.

Other all-league honorees include: Katie Ryan (So., Lakeland), Lauryn Cooper (Sr., Lakeland), Megan Watson (Jr., Moscow), Peyton Claus (Jr., Moscow) and Peyton Watson (Fr., Moscow).
